Every tile painted by hand. No two are alike.
Put it where the sun lands. The colour ends up on the table.
Set a Tessera glass near a window and watch the table change. A woven grid of raised glass tiles catches the light, scattering red, cobalt, turquoise and amber across the surface.
Each tile is painted by hand. The palette is fixed. The placement is not — so no two glasses are quite the same.
The basket-weave texture is moulded into the glass, not printed on it. Run your fingers across the surface and you can feel every raised tile. It gives the glass texture, grip and weight while making the colour shift as you turn it in the light.

Wash by hand with a soft cloth, warm water and a little mild soap, then let it dry. Keep it out of the dishwasher and away from boiling water, soaking and abrasive sponges: that is what keeps the hand-painted colour bright.
Small bubbles, specks and subtle variations in colour and glass are part of the making process. Measurements may vary by a few millimetres between batches.
