From the 16.7 cm (6.6 in) side plate to the 33.6 cm (13.2 in) sharing platter, drawn to scale below.
A round plate woven from the same hand-painted tiles as the Tessera glasses. Set it in a patch of sun and the colour slips off the rim onto the linen; set food on it and the pattern shows through between cheese, figs and a slice of tart.
Four sizes, from a side plate to a sharing platter, so the pattern can sit at one place or run the length of the table. Every tile is painted by hand. The palette is fixed. The placement is not, so no two plates are quite the same.
Colour you can feel
The basket-weave texture is moulded into the glass, not printed on it. Run a finger across the surface and you feel every raised tile. It gives the plate grip and a soft, uneven edge, and makes the colour shift as the light moves across the table.

Care
Hand wash only, with a soft cloth, warm water and a little mild soap, then let it dry. Avoid boiling water, soaking, abrasive sponges and sudden temperature changes: that is what keeps the hand-painted colour bright.
Made by hand
Small bubbles, specks and subtle variations in colour and glass are part of the making process. Measurements may vary by a few millimetres between pieces.
Every Tessera is a little different. That is the point.

Glasses to go with it: the Tessera Glass, single or in sets. Something to pour from: the Tessera Pitcher, or both in the Tessera Serving Set. For the rest of the table, the Rectangular Platter, the Square Platter and the fruit bowl. Which size should I choose?
16.7 cm (6.6 in) is a side plate for bread, pastries or cake. 23.5 cm (9.3 in) is a salad or dessert plate. 28.2 cm (11.1 in) works as a dinner plate or a small platter, and 33.6 cm (13.2 in) is a sharing platter for the centre of the table. All four are drawn to scale above.
Do the sizes come in sets?
The 16.7, 23.5 and 28.2 cm plates come singly or in sets of 2 and 4 of the same size, at a lower price per plate; the price per plate is shown under each option. The 33.6 cm sharing platter is sold on its own.
Can I serve food on it?
Yes. Cheese, fruit, pastries, salads, desserts and warm dishes: it tolerates up to 80 °C / 176 °F, the same as the Tessera glass. Keep it away from the oven, boiling water and sudden temperature changes, and wash it by hand.
When will it ship, and when will I have it?
You pay when you order. Shipping begins October 14; delivery usually takes 4 to 7 days from dispatch, and we email tracking the day it ships.
Will it arrive in one piece?
Each piece is wrapped on its own and boxed for glass. If anything arrives broken, email us a photo of the piece and the box within 72 hours of delivery and we send a replacement free of charge, nothing to send back. In a set, we replace the piece that broke.
How do I wash it?
By hand, with a soft cloth, warm water and mild soap. The hand-painted colour does not like dishwashers, soaking or scrubbing, so give it the same care as a good wine glass.
Do you ship to my country, and are there duties?

The vase is just perfect. I let the vase stand out here by not loading it up with colorful blooms and let the majestic magnolia reside in order to complement each other.

I love the whole illusion concept, it looks even better in person. One`s first instinct with paper cups is to crumple it so its a cool effect, plus the colors make it pop ! I wish there was a 8 oz version for smaller hands but this ones are amazing !!

Better than expected
Received my orders of two separate deliveries, including 2 extra glasses and a pitcher… the free gift in the metal tea cup was also really awesome.
