Nearly 25 cm across and woven from open glass lattice rather than solid walls, so the light goes straight through. Put it in the sun and the whole pattern lands on the table underneath, in full colour.

Each strip of the weave is painted by hand. The palette is fixed. The placement is not, so no two bowls are quite the same.

Fruit, or nothing at all

890 ml holds a few days of fruit. Pears, apples, a bunch of grapes, apricots in summer. The open weave lets air move around everything instead of trapping it, and it looks just as good sitting empty.

Care

Hand wash in warm water with a soft cloth. Avoid boiling water and sudden temperature changes.

Made by hand

Small bubbles, specks and subtle variations in colour and glass are part of the making process. Measurements may vary by a few millimetres between batches.
